Tuesday at Drummuir Castle we had a presentation of the haggis (traditional Scottish dish - a kind of sausage or savoury pudding cooked in a casing of sheep's intestine!) followed by a poem read from Robert Burns 1759-1796. Photos to come....
On the menu that evening was:
- Smoked salmon salad
- Roast Loin of Venison with green beans, roast squash and red wine sauce
- Poached peach with honey parfait and raspberries
